ICBE is the International Commission on Benedictine Education. It was established by the Abbot Primate of the Benedictine Confederation, Dom Notker Wolf OSB in 2002. Its mission is to support and connect Benedictine schools around the world. ICBE organises BENET, the World Conference of Benedictine Educators every 3 years. Benedictine Educators also meet in Regional Meetings, usually in between worldwide BENETs. Students from Benedictine schools also meet in the International Benedictine Youth Congresses (IBYC), which also have both worldwide and regional versions.
