Mission Statement

Founded in 1905 as a Catholic boys' boarding school, it has grown from 240 to 310 students, mainly from Ireland. Lay teachers have predominated since monks couldn't attend university. Now, only five monks remain. Academically strong, 95% pursue higher education. The school fosters a close-knit Catholic community, excelling in rugby, hurling, and athletics. Cultural activities include plays, music, and public speaking. A £3.5M building program has been underway in the past four years.
