HISTORY: ,This School of economics has developed from a Girl's secondary school.In 1916 the school was a part-time professional school. From the mod 1920's the school became a full-time school are renamed as a 'School of Commerce for Girls' In 1941 it was confiscated by the Third Reich and re-opened in 1950 as a business school offering a four-year course, run as a professional school leading to Middle Certificate standard.In 1972 the school was developed to become a School of Economics with a four-year course. ,Pupils are obliged to receive instruction in their own religious denominations. Courses are available in religious youth work. , FUNDING: ,Approximately 80% of the costs are covered by a State subsidy, the remainder coming from income generated by the nuns actively teaching in the school.
