Mission Statement

HSISTORY:After secularisation in the 19th century, the Abbey of St. Walburga was re-establishes, on condition that the nuns should undertake the education of girls in the city of Eischstatt. The school was opened on 24th October 1834 and has remained under monastic direction ever since (apart from the years 1937b to 1945). The school has been co-educational since 1980.There is an elementary school and a secondary school (Teilhauptchule).
