Mission Statement

HISTORY:Established in 1934 by the Benedictine Nuns of Perpetual Adoration at Klosterberg 25, 94496 Ortenburg. Originally there was Kindergarten and also a home for the sick, who were not bedridden. After the second world war, it became a Children's Home for War Orphans, and later a special school for children from the Eastern Zone.Since 1956 the school has been an elementary boarding school for girls. The school is now co-educational and boarding. It is a private school, but with State recognition. Pupils are in Grades 1 to 9 with boarding for girls and a Kindergatrten with 11 groups.FUNDING:The State meets all necessary expenses. The Nursery School and boarding are financed by parents fees.
